What are the Student Sustainability Design Awards?
The POPAI Australia & New Zealand Student Sustainability Design Awards recognise excellence in design for retail display and is aimed at lifting awareness of the use of sustainable materials.
The program encourages young talent by providing them with real life experience as they respond to a commercial brief given by PepsiCo Australia & New Zealand, one of the largest brands in the world.

How do you enter?
1) Download here for more detailed information on the Student Sustainability Design Awards.
2) Download the registration form here.
Complete and return to POPAI Australia & New Zealand, making sure that you tick the box indicating that you have read and understood the terms and conditions, via email. You will then receive the Design Brief and logos required to complete the project.
3) You will need to submit a sustainable design for a fit-for–purpose point of purchase retail display which not only highlights the brand and works in the retail environment, but is also built around sustainable principals.
4) You must submit a short case study looking at the strategy and thinking behind your entry.
What can you win?
The designs will be judged by a panel of industry professionals assembled by POPAI Australia & New Zealand. The student who enters the best sustainable retail display will win a 12 month Student Edition of SolidWorks and a 4 day professional commercial training course fully provided by Intercad.
Who & When?
This awards contest is for students studying Industrial Design in Australia. The contest will open on the 15th of March 2010 and will close on the 14th of May 2010 with the winner being announced before the end of the semester.
