World’s leading sustainability experts at ‘Sustainability at Retail" conference

Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI) has announced its fourth ‘Futures So Bright Green Sustainability Conference’, in Melbourne on June 18th, 2010.

The theme of the conference is ‘Sustainability at Retail’, and features ten global experts from world leading brands revealing how sustainability can drive growth and efficiency in the retail environment, from store-front, operations, design and construction through to supply chain.

Keynote speakers include John J. Carde, Senior Vice President, Retail Director of Bank America discussing how Bank of America has implemented green building practices into its retail banking centres as part of a US$20 billion environmental commitment.

Steve Rust, Managing Director of Panasonic Australia, will explore the challenges and opportunities presented by The Green Revolution and how Panasonic plans to realise the twin goals of economic and sustainable growth.

The Director of Australian consultancy Green for Retail, Ben Wheaton, will address the issue ‘Where to from here?’ exploring how to develop a roadmap for taking sustainability forward within an organization.
