MultiChannel Is Out, OmniChannel Is In

The word "multichannel" is tied to a concept of retailers operating in multiple channels — they have a store, they have a website, and they have some way for consumers to access their products on smartphones and tablets. Some, however, are beginning to use the word "omnichannel" to describe the evolving shopper behavior of slipping seamlessly from store to website to mobile device.  See more..
